ABOUT US

Marc’s grandparents began ranching here in the 1940’s, and he has been running his own cattle for 40 years. 

 

Big Creek Ranch started with stocker cattle and has evolved into a commercial cow-calf operation ran day-to-day by Marc, his daughter Mikel-Ann, his son-in-law Blake, and long-time friend Jerry.

Producing and raising quality animals, holding ourselves to the highest standard of animal husbandry, and staying cutting edge on conservation methods in order to best utilize and continuously improve our native grasses has been a lifelong pursuit here at Big Creek.

 

We attribute our ability to maintain quality forage for our herd year-round to our use of No-Till planting along with rotational grazing for the past 20 years.

These methods allow us to raise top-notch commercial Angus replacement heifers, young herd bulls, and program feeder steers and heifers that are sure to perform well wherever the trail leads them!
